**A DAILY RULE OF LIFE:

ACKNOWLEDGING GOD IN ALL YOUR WAYS** (Proverbs 3:6)

This rule is not about doing more, but about inviting God into what you already do.

MORNING — ORIENTATION (Beginning the Day With God)

First Attention

Before checking your phone, pause and pray:

“Lord, I give You my attention before I give it to the world.”

Practice: Offer God your first awareness, not just spare moments.

Direction for the Day

Before work, school, or responsibilities, ask:

“Lord, what matters today? Order my steps.”

Practice: Seek direction before productivity.

Commit the Ordinary

As you dress, prepare food, or commute, pray quietly:

“Lord, be present in these small things.”

Practice: Refuse to divide life into “spiritual” and “practical.”

MIDDAY — ATTENTION (Walking With God During Activity)

Before Speaking or Writing

Before sending messages, emails, or entering conversations:

“Lord, guard my words.”

Practice: Invite God into communication.

Before Decisions and Commitments

When asked to say yes or no, pause and pray:

“Lord, is this wise for me now?”

Practice: Let prayer interrupt automatic agreement.

Before Work Tasks

At your desk or workspace, whisper:

“Lord, give clarity and integrity in this.”

Practice: Acknowledge dependence before competence.

In Emotional Reactions

When irritation, stress, or anger rises, pray:

“Lord, show me what I’m really reacting to.”

Practice: Invite God into emotional awareness, not just behaviour control.

In Waiting and Inconvenience

In queues, delays, or traffic, pray:

“Lord, form patience in me here.”

Practice: Turn interruptions into formation.

When Tempted to Speak Negatively

Before gossip, sarcasm, or criticism, ask:

“Lord, does this honour You?”

Practice: Submit speech to God’s character.

In Praise or Success

When complimented or affirmed, pray silently:

“Lord, keep me grounded.”

Practice: Acknowledge God in success, not just struggle.

EVENING — REFLECTION (Ending the Day With God)

After Completing Tasks

When work ends, pray:

“Thank You, Lord.”

Practice: Acknowledge God in completion.

In Leisure and Media

Before watching, scrolling, or relaxing, ask:

“Lord, does this draw me closer or dull me?”

Practice: Invite God into rest.

In Parenting and Relationships

Before responding to loved ones, pray:

“Lord, help me respond with wisdom, not impulse.”

Practice: Let God shape relational tone.

In Loneliness or Quiet

When alone, pray:

“Lord, sit with me here.”

Practice: Resist numbing; choose presence.

When Plans Go Wrong

When something fails, pray:

“Lord, help me respond, not react.”

Practice: Submit outcomes to God.

NIGHT — EXAMEN (Reviewing the Day With God)

Review the Day

Before sleep, ask:

“Lord, where did I notice You today?”

Confess Missed Moments

Pray honestly:

“Where did I rush, assume, or ignore You?”

Release Control

Pray:

“I place tomorrow in Your hands.”

Receive Grace

Thank God for faithfulness—even when yours was imperfect.

Rest in Trust

Sleep with this prayer:

“Lord, You direct my paths—even as I rest.”

THE HEART OF THIS RULE

This rule is not about perfection. It is about posture.

It trains the heart to say repeatedly:

“God is not a guest in my life. He is Lord of it.”

FINAL WORD

Those who acknowledge God in ordinary moments find that direction comes quietly—but surely.

Because paths are not directed by brilliance, but by humble, consistent surrender.
